De Schanszichtpad in de Zaanse Schans biedt prachtige uitzichten over een typisch Nederlandse landschap met molens en weiden. De wandeling begint bij de uitkijktoren naast de ingang van de Zaanse Schans en gaat helemaal rondom het terrein via het polderlandschap en weer terug langs de molens. Het Schanszichtpad en de Kalverpolder wandelroute – een unieke natuurfietstocht rond de Zaanse Schans die start bij de uitkijktoren… Je kunt rechtstreeks door de polder lopen op het enige veenweidegebied in de Zaandstreek. De wandelroute is gratis toegankelijk en geopend het hele jaar, behalve tijdens het broedseizoen van 15 maart tot 15 juni.
